Extreme progress! 75% of the room is done. Now for lots of little pieces for the large notch and the doorway. And at some point basemolding. My dad was a great help today. He basically laughed while I cursed for five hours and bought me Wendy’s. Love him.

Hard to say. I got the Baconator, which is really delicious when you’re not paying for it. Also a Frosty. Expensive as fuck menu.

Does the stuff have a pretty convincing look and level out ok? My father-in-law just installed some that looks decent, but I’ve seen other half-assed jobs that looked like hell and creaked with every step. I’m thinking about laying some in where the old linoleum is failing in my kitchen.

Doesn’t creak at all which is nice, but while the surfaces are durable, the little channels and bits that lock in on install are fragile. Damage the tang in just the wrong spot, it will never be flush with adjacent pieces. I have one major touch up spot to do. But now I know.
